Sink into the moment

A rich and sumptuous balm that prepares you to drift off to sleep with a soothing, moisturizing formula.

Fortifies the skin barrier while working long term to prevent and reverse the visible signs of aging.

It’s made with moisturizing Shea Butter, which creates a protective seal over the skin to lock in moisture and prevent overnight dehydration.

Made with 1% Bakuchiol, a plant-based retinol alternative, it smoothes the skin and addresses signs of skin aging like fine lines and pigmentation, without ever causing irritation.

Developed in conjunction with Inotka Gua Sha, it helps massage tools glide over the skin, for when you need that uplifting or stimulating touch.

Designed to be gentle and moisture-binding, this formula is free from controversial occlusives like silicone, lanolin, mineral oil, and petrolatum.

Ingredients

Ingredients

1% Bakuchiol: A clinically-effective, plant-based alternative to retinol that addresses visible signs of aging like fine lines, loss of tone, and hyperpigmentation. Clinical testing shows that bakuchiol is effective at 0.5%, but we’ve doubled the quantity for increased results.

Shea Butter: Sumptuous emollient that provides an occlusive effect, to seal in moisture and prevent dehydration overnight.

Argan Oil: A gentle and lightweight moisturizing oil that contains a lot of vitamin E as well as calming linoleic acid. As an emollient, it softens the skin and prevents moisture loss.

Hyaluronic Acid: Moisture-binding ingredient that quenches the skin’s thirst by delivering water from the atmosphere into the stratum corneum. It’s an unparalleled hydrator.

Vitamin C: This stabilized form of vitamin C has powerful antioxidant effects. It’s known for keeping the skin looking youthful and illuminated.

Vitamin E: An important antioxidant that soothes and protects the skin and boosts the effects of vitamin C. It has a double role since it also helps to keep the other ingredients in the Night Balm stable.

Green Tea Extract: Potently soothing and anti-aging ingredient that helps to reduce visible signs of sensitivity and premature aging.

Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride (fractionated coconut oil), beeswax, argania spinosa (argan) nut oil*, bakuchiol, tapioca starch, sodium hyaluronate, tocopheryl acetate, ascorbyl palmitate, matricaria recutita (chamomile) flower extract*, camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract*, aloe barbadensis (vera) leaf extract*, cananga odorata (ylang ylang) flower oil

How To Use

Use after hydrating and moisturizing serums or lotions with a lighter texture, like the Bakuchiol Serum or Sea Buckthorn Moisturizer.

Warm a small amount of balm in the palms of your hands so it melts into a silky oil.

Massage the balm gently over cleansed skin. Apply to face, neck, and decollete.

For more contoured skin, follow it up with a Gua Sha or Rose Quartz Roller massage.

FAQ

Is the Night Balm vegan?

The Night Balm is vegetarian and cruelty-free, but not vegan. It includes a small percentage of beeswax, which improves its texture and barrier-protecting abilities.

Can I use the Night Balm in the daytime, as well?

The Night Balm is safe to use both in the morning and at night. If you have dry skin, you may enjoy using it in the morning since it can provide a beautiful sheen to the skin. Those with oily or combination skin may find it a little too heavy for daytime use.

Can I use this while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Many people choose to switch from retinol to bakuchiol-based products when they become pregnant. There are no known safety risks associated with bakuchiol for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Even so, we always recommend speaking with your doctor to confirm that your skincare routine is safe and appropriate for you.
